Stickydilwho?! The Chronicles or Stickydiljoe has become almost a household name in the automotive online community. For those who isn’t up to date, the Chronicles blog went public in 2008 dedicating its content to the Honda/Acura community and the occasional miscellaneous features. I first discovered the blog when I used to concentrate my interest in the NWP4life forum during the peak of the Honda trend a couple years back. At the time I had no idea who Joey Lee was (founder of the Chronicles…obviously) or what kind of impact he would have in the automotive community, but for some reason I was attracted to the things he posted. There is a certain essence that gravitates my interest to read more and check the contents of the blog on a daily basis. His articles is not lyrical or poetic by any means, he doesn’t force himself to use artistic vocabulary just to send his message forward (which I have a habit of doing if you haven’t notice). In a simpler term, his article is RAW, which I feel like is why it’s so engaging. Sure there are many automotive blogs circulating the web now adays but not everyone is able to capture the true essence of the topic being discussed, let alone keep the readers entertain. And I think for someone to constantly write that much about cars definitely shows his devotion and passion about his art. Some people might think that I’m just raving when I write this article but let’s face it automotive or cars in general is THE most uninteresting subject to talk about regardless if you are talking to females or males. But Joey’s dedication and his ability to creatively objectify his words has set the Chronicles apart amongst the many automotive blogs permeating the web; The Chronicles meet is one of the many accomplishments he has to show of his hard work.
If you guys are avid followers of the blog, you’re probably still waiting for the Year V Anniversary meet coverage. Lucky for you, we were fortunate to linked up with one of our new contributors out West and have him cover the event which took place at the exterior of the Eibach facility. Seeing how the Chronicles has grown over the past five years, I was not surprised by the turnout of this event year after year, and despite that it’s only a “meet” the quality and diversity of the cars are equally amazing.

Not your typical VIP platform on Profounds! Even though it’s not my style I love seeing these high detailed VIP builds because it truly captures the Japanese VIP scene minus the oni camber.

Another one of Miura-san’s minions here in the states, I love the super aggressive look on these cars

We’ve seen some over the top fitment on these Z cars, but a clean conservative look is always a neck bracket…especially when it’s bright yellow!
