With the urge to showcase car owners’ new car mods from last fall, it’s to no surprise that Springfest is one of the most highly anticipated events to “kick off” the new year’s car show season. This year is no exception. With this year’s venue at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, car enthusiasts from all over travel minutes to hours to attend this event. I’ve even heard certain car crews drive over 8 hours just to make it. In any case, traveling the distance just to reunite with friends in the car scene makes it that much more inviting.

To those who aren’t immediately in the car scene know that Springfest isn’t all about the cars. It’s also about having a great time with friends, making new ones, cruising, and all around making new memories. It may be hectic, stressful, frustrating, even angering to prep your car for the event, but when you get there, all that effort is worth it because you know it’ll be a good time.
