Over the weekend I had the pleasure of meeting new friends and spending Saturday night with the guys and gals from Be Scene Hair Studio. Our friend Mark was actually the one who was appointed to cover the event, but since he came down with a flu I graciously covered his spot. Since it was very last minute I wasn’t sure how the photos were going to turn out for a couple of reasons mainly: 1. I have never shot parties or special events…let alone night life 2. These Nikon hands are not very fond of Cannon cameras (Go Nikon!), within the 6-7 years I’ve been shooting never have I ever used a Cannon. I was skeptical at first, but I took it upon myself to explore different styles of photography and things tend to be a lot more interesting when its unplanned right! We started our Saturday night soirée at Donovan House as we let our friend Mr. Jameson help us eased off into the night.

We then headed to Capitale with the help of our bodyguard for the night (shout out to Big Tony for keeping us safe!).

Then the shenanigans begun…
