Rivalries have been around in the car industry since the beginning. You have Mustang vs. Camaro, Ferrari vs. Lamborghini, Corvette vs. Viper, etc. One of the most popular rivalry is between the Evo and the STI. This friendly competition goes back to when both were competing in WRC. The heat continued as both cars were in production. To simplify, you have the typical fan boys in both corners. Alas, Mitsubishi has withdrawn from the competition by discontinuing the Evo. The final edition is the last of them – with 1600 units sold in the U.S.
Ranger Ramirez from Elite Tuner organized a show for the brand enthusiasts to gather and celebrate the rivalry. It was held at the Simeone Automotive Museum near Philadelphia. It was our first time at the venue and it was amazing. The vast collection of cars from various significant times in history were present. Being there with modern cars presented attendees with a contrasting view of the past meeting the present. It’s astounding to see how automobiles improved in technology, aerodynamics and mechanical aspects.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to Ranger and Duy of Elite Tuner for giving us the opportunity to be a part of the event, our supporters who came by the SOTRENDY booth and to our CCEVO family for always being supportive and being an example of a solid crew – you guys (and gals) are the best!
